Have you been to the Lake Gardens (Tasik Perdana) lately?

Tasik Perdana is slowly undergoing a huge change and it's being done section by section. It's now one of my favourite places to visit, with an incredible range of birds, insects, butterflies, plants and flowers spread over acres and acres of beautiful greenery. Most visitors make a beeline for the area near the Lake Club. I would suggest a visit to the other end near the National Museum.

Be prepared to walk a lot if you want to walk around the lake. The good thing is you can always find a place to sit in the shade and take a rest before you continue walking. Walk, walk, walk...that's the way to a healthy life. And you get to appreciate nature at the same time. It's free too.

Our country offers a good life to those who can appreciate what it has to offer. What more can we ask?
